In Australia, 1 in 10 people over the age of 65 is affected by dementia. There is no cure. The answer lies in critical research.
With the disease process generally beginning 20-30 years before symptoms become apparent, there is a window of opportunity for its prevention or delaying of the symptoms. For this to happen, we need to develop tests to identify those at risk very early in the course of the disease and trial intervention strategies.
At CHeBA, we are striving for this outcome, but we need your help. Your support of the CHeBA 1 in 10 Appeal today will have a direct impact on this critical research and help pave the way towards a healthier future for generations to come.
