Change Makers – Next Gen Philanthropy Program
The CHeBA Change Makers are an exclusive group of next generation philanthropists aged 18-40 who are supporting critical research into Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias for a brighter future in ageing.
What does it take to become a ‘philanthropist’? It is much more than having the capacity to donate to charity – it’s an aspiration to make the world a better place.
Every 3 seconds someone in the world is diagnosed with dementia.
In Australia, dementia is the second leading cause of death – and by 2050 over one million Australians will be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia, overtaking heart disease as the leading cause of death.
Change Makers invest in the future, for a brighter future.
Change Makers support discovery, in support of tomorrow.
Change Makers promote the benefits of physical activity
and other lifestyle factors to reduce risk of dementia.
Change Makers - Next Gen Philanthropy launched on World Alzheimer’s Day 2021, in partnership with KPMG and led by Ambassadors PJ Lane, Keri Kitay and Edward Caser.
