UNSW Optometry Services

The UNSW Optometry Clinic offers comprehensive eye examinations in addition to a variety of clinics. These facilities are available to UNSW alumni, in most cases at no charge.

The recently renovated clinic has state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that provides the best in patient eye health management.

As part of the complete optometric service, a wide selection of fashionable frames and sunglasses as well as contact lenses and solutions is on offer. Clinic optometrists offer expert advice on spectacle lenses, contact lenses, low vision aids and occupational eye protection.

As well as providing excellence in eye care, the clinic is a teaching facility used for educating undergraduate and postgraduate optometry students. During teaching periods, free eye examinations are performed by senior optometry students under supervision of qualified experienced optometrists.

8 January 2018 - 1 June 2018

2 July 2018 - 2 November 2018

During session breaks, Staff Optometrists are available to perform eye examinations. (Medicare required)
